One of the most well known and respected Chicano cartoonists, Lalo is recognized for his nationally syndicated politically-themed comics, published books, and social activism.
“La Cucaracha” has made history for being one of the first nationally syndicated daily comic strips, and has been featured in numerous publications; further cementing Lalo’s status as an influential and accomplished artist.
