Hispanic Heritage Month has been celebrated in the United States since 1988, when President Ronald Reagan signed a law that officially recognized the presence of Latinos in the country and acknowledged the substantial contributions they have made to the U.S. society ever since the inception of the republic.
The Philadelphia Hispanic Heritage Annual Luncheon and Awards Program, hosted by AL DIA in the Union League Club of Philadelphia, was created to recognize those contributions of the most accomplished Latinos to our region in the key areas of Health, Education, Business and Civic Works.
It will take place for the second consecutive this coming October the 11th, 2017, at the Union League of Philadelphia, at 12 noon.
Please join us to celebrate these 4 pillars of leadership on our region!
